Rank, Scott Edward
age 60, of Indianapolis, passed away July 3, 2024. He was born on April 13, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, beloved son of the late George and Dorothy Rank. Scott loved to go camping, play pool, listen to music, drink his Pepsi and make everyone laugh. Scott was an avid Star Trek fan who loved to work with his hands, taking things apart and fixing them. Scott was known to cut loose and belt out harrowing renditions of the 4 Non Blondes song What's Up.
Scott is survived by his son: Matthew (Christina) Brimer; sisters: Diane Thomas, Janet (Cliff) Johnson, his twin sister: Robin (Dan) Pickens; brother-in-law: Allen Adkison; his best friend: Jerry Saylor; nieces and nephews: Sarah (Keith) Bathe, Stephanie (Scott) Henderson, Chad (Tammy) Martin, Tara (David) Ryan, Tyson (Christy) Hardester, Brian Pickens, and Amber (Ryan Porter) Pickens; many great-nieces and great-nephews, and many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Scott is also preceded in death by the love of his life: Dallas Sirena Stubblefield; son: Dallas Prescott Stubblefield-Rank; sister: Linda Adkison; and nephew: Kristopher Martin.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
