Ben Cole
Interim Head of Campus and Innovation Services
Ben is part of our original Loughborough East Midlands based team which supports our activities in London. Ben leads Strategic Projects across the university and is currently Interim Head of campus and innovation Services supporting London based colleagues to deliver the staff and student experience.
Ben helped put the plan together for our Future Space activities and the Future Space team. Ben regularly hosts events, hacks and workshops to help students across the university connect and build their skills.
Ben is a board member and signatory on the Community Interest Company Global Disability Innovation Hub and a Director of Capital Enterprise. Ben sits on the leadership group for the east London branch of Citizens UK and is one of the founders of Startup Higher.
Ben was formerly Head of Community at the biggest Secondary School in Tower Hamlets, has consulted with the London Borough of Hackney and Tower Hamlets on education and creative industries projects. He was part of the team that scaled Youth Music to be one of the largest youth charities in the UK.
