HEALTH AND. The Company shall continue to make reasonable provisions for the safety and health of its employees during their hours of employment and furnish necessary protective equipment and safety devices required by applicable legislation. The Company and the Union agree that they mutually desire to maintain standards of safety and health in order to prevent accidents, injury and illness. its responsibilities under applicable legislation the Company agrees to continue in effect during the term of the Collective Agreement safety committees in all locations, each comprised respectively of at least six employees, three of whom shall exercise managerial functions and three of whom shall be representatives selected or appointed by the Union from amongst the bargaining unit employees who have completed their probationary period. Such committees shall identify potential dangers and hazards and recommend action to be taken to improve conditions relating to safety and health. Meetings shall be held monthly or more frequently if required. The committee shall maintain minutes of all the meetings and make the same available for review and there shall be a physical inspection of the work place not more often than once a month in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Representatives appointed or selected by the Union attending at safety meetings. including the employee conducting the physical inspection referred to in Section above shall, be paid their average hourly earnings as a result of such attendance. The Union agrees to to obtain the full cooperation its membership in the observation of all safety rules and practices. ARTICLE INJURY Where an employee is injured at work during the performance of his/her duties and responsibilities as a result of which he/she cannot complete the balance of his/her shift and has reported such injury to the Company, he/she shall be paid for the balance of his/her shift at his/her average hourly rate. ARTICLE SAFETY SHOES 1 It is strongly recommended that all employees wear approved safety shoes or boots during working hours. a condition of employment, however, safety shoes or boots must be worn by employees in jobs designated by the Company from time to time. To assist employees in this respect the Company will contribute either thirty-five dollars towards the purchase of Xxxxxxx brand safety shoes, eighteen dollars for other brands, or forty dollars towards the purchase of Xxxxxxx brand safety boots, twenty-two dollars for ...
HEALTH AND. Welfare Temporary team members shall receive compensation of in lieu of health and welfare benefits of fifty-eight cents ($0.58) per hour worked, up to a maximum of forty dollars and sixty cents ($40.60).
HEALTH AND. SAFETY At the request of Incumbent, PathNet shall require its employees, agents and Subcontractors to comply with Incumbent's reasonable rules and regulations governing the health and safety of its employees in effect on the Effective Date, which rules and regulations are attached hereto as SCHEDULE H.
HEALTH AND. The Parties agree that occupational health and safety is vitally important to all employees working under this Collective Agreement. The Parties agree that occupational health and safety training is crucial in order for all persons to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

HEALTH AND. A Health and Safety Committee shall be established and will meet within the first half of each month for the purpose of discussing matters pertaining to and safety. This committee may submit to management recommendations concerning the health and safety of the employees. Emergencymeetings will be held upon mutual consent of the parties. The committee will be composed as follows: Equal representation, three (3) members appointed by the Union and three (3) members appointed by the Company. The Human Resources Manager and the Union Safety Chairman will act as coordinator for meetings, minutes and follow-up for corrective actions. In cases of absence of the appointed members, two substitute members can act as replacements. Each of the patties hereto will notify the other in as to the names of its appointed members and substitutes. No member or substitute will be recognized until notification is received. The Company will provide and maintain an adequate first aid station on Company premises. The parties hereto will ensure compliance with all applicable government statutes and regulations in respect to safety and health. ARTICLE OCCUPATION POSTING
HEALTH AND. Welfare benefits shall end upon resignation or termination of employment of any Bargaining Unit employee. Ending date is the last day of the month in which the resignation was effective.
