Christine McGuinness has confided a secret hope in a Coronoation Street star - before sharing a sneak peek of a new project the pair have been working on.
The Blackpool star and Corrie's Colson Smith first became friends on the ITV show The Games in 2022. In July, Christine posted a selfie with Colson, who plays Craig Tinker, in a car.
She used emojis to hint at filming something together. A few weeks later, they were back in front of the camera. This time, Colson wore a purple jumper and white T-shirt, while Christine looked stunning in a black top and white trousers.

Christine later revealed on Instagram that they were filming for Antiques Road Trip. The episode will be shown on Tuesday evening (January 23) on BBC Two. She wrote: "Tomorrow 7pm @bbctwo. I went on a road trip with @colsonjsmith @antiqueroadtrip."
In response to the post, Colson humorously wrote: "Hope they cut all the times I stalled the car," followed by crying laughing emojis. Christine replied to Colson also sharing her 'hope', saying: " I hope they cut our conversations!" accompanied by more laughing emojis.
Fans showed their support with comments like: "Will watch tomorrow looks like you had a great time Christine and a fab classic car as well to drive." and "I will be watching tonight." Others expressed excitement with comments such as: "We're looking forward to watching this." and "Great news. Look forward to it."
