It comes after a number of consumers predicted that a number of mystery installations across London and Newcastle were to do with the advert, the Mirror reports.

Much like every year, the advert has been kept under wraps, but the John Lewis team appear to have teased a number of mysterious themes in London and Newcastle as head-scratching installations can be found in random locations across the city's streets

A number of eagle-eyed fans rejoiced after spotting what they have guessed are “ UFO crash landings” in London’s Southbank and Newcastle’s Northumberland Street.

Sharing snaps of the seemingly random installations, social media users have started to get Christmas lover’s buzzing as they shared snaps of the signs which lay alongside the mysterious art works.

Both the London and Newcastle ‘crash landings’ feature signs which read: “Christmas is landing 04/11/21 #UnexpectedGuest”.

The soundtrack for the 2021 campaign has also been a huge talking point in recent weeks.

Every year, a famous singer can be heard singing a Christmas-related tune in the soundtrack of the advert.
