Sue Radford has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her stillborn son Alfie on the tenth anniversary of his birth.

The mum-of-22, who stars in Channel 5's '22 Kids and Counting' alongside her husband Noel Radford, took to Instagram to remember Alfie, who was tragically stillborn in 2014. The Radfords have often honoured their son's memory on the show.

Sue, 49, posted an emotional message at the weekend, telling her thousands of followers that the pain "never ever gets easier". She also uploaded touching images, including Alfie's tiny foot and handprints.

In a poignant post, she recounted the devastating moment ten years ago when she learned her baby boy had no heartbeat and the subsequent labour that followed.

Sue wrote: "This time 10 years ago I was in a labour room being told our beautiful baby boy had no heartbeat. I would be induced a few hours later for him to be born silent but perfect at 7:54am the next morning.

She added, "This time of year never ever gets easier. I cant believe it's 10 years tomorrow since he was born."

The family continued to honour Alfie's memory over the weekend, with a video shared on Saturday showing their youngest, Heidie, aged four, tenderly cleaning her brother's headstone. The video was captioned with: "Heidie's giving her big brother's headstone a good clean bless her.

In paying homage to Alfie throughout the years, the family has marked poignant moments with emotional posts such as one from his birthday last year which read: "We miss you so much and often wonder who you would have been like and what you would have loved doing." And the family further wrote in the post: "You'll always be our missing heartbeat."

Sue and Noel have also previously discussed ensuring that Alfie is remembered by the family. Once, during an episode of their show that aired last year, the couple shared that he is spoken about within the family and it was suggested by Noel that even their youngest kids "understand it".

"It's definitely something we know we talk about - Alfie. Obviously the kids come with us when we got to see his grave and things like that. So even the ones that weren't born, they understand it - who Alfie is," Noel commented.

Sue shared: "He's just always spoken about, isn't he?" And after Noel said that the loss was one of the "biggest things" that has affected the family, she commented: "It's the worst thing that I think we'd ever been through." Sue added in the same episode: "That was just the lowest point in our lives."
