In celebration of its 35th anniversary, the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition held its annual "Hope in a Handbag" event at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, where fashion-savvy shoppers came together to bid on the latest top designer handbags. Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed cocktails and light bites as well as gourmet chocolates. The event helped raise funds to support Foster & Adoptive Care's mission to create permanency in the lives of children impacted by foster care by recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families in the St. Louis region.
