TRAFFIC ALERT: MoDOT reopens eastbound I-44 in Joplin, Mo., after deadly tractor-trailer crash

JOPLIN, Mo. (KY3) - A driver of a tractor-trailer died in a crash on I-44 in Joplin on Tuesday.
The crash happened Tuesday morning near Exit 13 at Prigmor Avenue. The tractor-trailer involved contained hazardous material.
The semi blocked the eastbound lanes of the interstate for several hours. Authorities have not released the driver’s identity.
