Deputies find missing Moss Bluff woman

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - UPDATE: The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has located Baas at a Moss Bluff business today, June 26, around 10 a.m.

She was taken to a local hospital to be checked by medical personnel, deputies said, and appeared to be in stable condition.

Lorrie Lynn Baas, 54, was last seen walking south from her home on Quentin Drive in Moss Bluff around 1 p.m. on Tuesday. She was seen wearing a brown shirt, army green hoodie, dark-colored pants, and black sandals, deputies said.

Officials said she has a condition that may affect her judgment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-491-3700. The sheriff’s office is also asking anyone in the area of Quentin Drive to review their home surveillance footage to see if she possibly walked past their home.
