WestStar MultiMedia Entertainment Inc., The Kim Komando Show and Kim Komando Newsletters is seeking a creative, driven marketing professional to grow our newsletter reach and online presence. As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for dreaming up, implementing and optimizing growth channels. The goal: To increase our newsletter’s reach/subscriber count and drive engagement. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Content Marketing: Develop and execute content marketing strategies to attract and engage target audiences. Collaborate with the content team to create valuable posts, articles and other materials to drive growth.
  • Email Marketing: Design and execute email marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring new subscribers, nurturing leads and increasing user retention. Segment audiences for personalized messaging and continuously optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Social Media Marketing: Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Craft compelling posts, engage with the community and leverage social media to increase brand awareness, and drive traffic to our website and newsletter landing pages.
  • Paid Platform Development: Develop strategies to expand membership and paid content offerings. Work closely with the editorial team to execute ideas into content that attracts new users and boosts engagement.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities with relevant industry players, influencers and complementary platforms to expand our reach and attract new audiences.
  • SEO & Organic Growth: Implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic to our website and improve search engine rankings. Conduct keyword research, optimize content and monitor website performance using analytics tools. 
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze and report on the performance of growth initiatives. Use data-driven insights to make data-backed recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on various channels to optimize conversion rates and identify high-performing growth strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in growth marketing, digital marketing or a similar role (3 to 5 years).
  • Demonstrated success in implementing growth strategies and achieving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, email marketing, social media, SEO and paid advertising principles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Passionate about newsletters, content creation and the digital marketing landscape.
