Success in the digital advertising sales space is required. This is a rare opportunity at an entrepreneurial company, with individual responsibility for driving sales and growing our advertiser base. This full-time, in-person position is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sell paid advertisements in The Kim Komando Show, Kim’s other radio programs, podcasts, and digital products including The Current (a daily newsletter with nearly 500K subscribers).
  • Identify and research potential accounts to generate new sales leads.
  • Renew and upsell existing client campaigns.
  • Engage in outbound communication and follow up on inbound leads to solicit new business. Conduct both in-person and virtual sales calls.
  • Organize and plan your workday effectively to manage a book of business efficiently.
  • Build rapport with clients, providing technical information, explanations, and presentations to meet their needs.
  • Schedule bi-weekly campaign review calls with clients.
  • Set short and long-term goals with your manager, and make every effort to reach milestones that have been mutually agreed upon.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and deliver results consistently.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Work from our offices in Phoenix, Arizona
  • Proven experience in high-volume sales activity within a B2B sales environment, with a passion for closing new business.
  • Ability to identify and research potential sales opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to manage a book of business efficiently, organizing and planning daily activities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and produce results with minimal oversight.
  • Detail oriented and multi-tasked. Can manage multiple accounts daily.
  • A plus if you are proficient in Google Suite productivity tools, such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Google Meet and Chat.
  • Heavy prospecting (a true hunter). Especially during the first 90-days. This is not a job for “order takers”.
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing sales goals.

Education and Qualification:

  • 3+ years of successful digital advertising sales experience
  • Track record of sales success and client development.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

Compensation Package:

This sales position provides an unlimited income opportunity, based on your efforts. Selected candidate will receive a $50,000 base salary, plus a generous commission schedule, account protection, and no territorial restrictions. There will be a reasonable monthly sales quote established after the first month of training. 

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including major medical, dental, and vision. Paid time off includes sick days, corporate holidays, and personal vacation. This is a full-time office position.
