Andrew is a member of the First Alert Weather Team.
Andrew Tate joined the team at KLTV in January 2021, coming from KXAS in DFW where he was a weather producer and helicopter photographer. Andrew made the jump from behind-the-scenes to being in-front of the camera while serving as a freelance weather forecaster at KTEN in Denison, TX.
A 2019 graduate of the University of North Texas, Andrew majored in broadcast media and also took his introductory meteorology courses while at UNT. He’ll graduate from Mississippi State University’s meteorology program in August 2024.
