MARION COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – A woman who was suspected of driving while under the influence pulled into a gas station and attempted to fuel her car during the traffic stop, according to authorities.

An officer with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Florida stopped a vehicle on S Highway 442 for speeding and erratic driving.

The driver, identified as Christina Bermudez, was reportedly driving all over the road and going over 100 mph.

The sheriff’s office said Bermudez appeared to be oblivious to the traffic stop and tried to put gas into her car after pulling into a gas station.

The officer said she displayed obvious signs of impairment, which was confirmed later by a DUI investigation.

Bermudez was arrested and taken to jail, where she reportedly provided a breath sample of .191.

Officials said she also refused to sign the DUI citation.
