FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers in some East Texas counties to remain closed temporarily

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Disaster Recovery Centers across various East Texas counties will remain closed on Tuesday after Hurricane Beryl passed through the region.
According to a press release by FEMA, the recovery centers located in Henderson, Jasper, Polk, Smith, Trinity, Tyler, and Van Zandt counties will remain closed temporarily and will reopen when it is safe to do so. Recovery centers located elsewhere will reopened at 10 a.m. today.
Additionally, homeowners and renters in Anderson, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, and Sabine counties are now eligible for FEMA assistance, officials say.
