Man dies after tree falls on Harris County house during Hurricane Beryl

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A man riding out Hurricane Beryl in Humble has died after a tree fell on a house.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported on X (formerly Twitter) that the 53-year-old man was inside the house with his wife and children as they attempted to wait out the storm. Gonzalez said that a tree fell on the roof and rafters, causing the structure to collapse. The wife and children are reportedly unharmed.
The man’s name has yet to be publicly released at this time.
