ATLANTA (KLTV) - Former Brook Hill Guard A.J. Minter tossed a scoreless frame on Saturday in Atlanta’s 5-1 win over Philadelphia.

The lefthander entered the game in the seventh inning.

Minter struck out Rafael Marchan on a foul tip for the first out of the inning. Whit Merrifield came in to pinch-hit for David Dahl in the next at-bat. Merrifield grounded out to Minter for the second out. Minter then got Johan Rojas to ground out as well for the 1-2-3 inning.

Minter threw 13 pitches, with nine of them being strikes.

The Braves are now 49-39 on the year and sit in second place in the NL East.
