Thousands without power as Beryl hits East Texas

EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - As tropical storm Beryl cuts its way through East Texas Monday, thousands of customers have been left without power.
As of 2:15 p.m., poweroutage.us had listed nearly 3 million Texans without power. The East Texas counties without over 1,000 outages are listed as follows:
- Polk County: 24,236 customers
- Trinity County: 8,552 customers
- Tyler County: 7,422 customers
- Angelina County: 6,158 customers
- Nacogdoches County: 5,209 customers
- San Augustine: 3,090 customers
- Shelby County: 2,924 customers
- Panola County: 2,124 customers
- Houston County: 1,785 customers
- Cherokee County: 1,411 customers
