1 arrested after shots fired on First Street in Tyler

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler police have arrested a man after shots were fired in a home in the 900 block of West First Street in Tyler.

According to police spokesman Andy Erbaugh, Chandler Jordan Haught, 22, of Tyler, was arrested on six counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Erbaugh said a handgun was located inside the home.

Multiple children, a woman and another man appeared to have been in the home at the time of the shooting but there were not injuries, according to Erbaugh.

Erbaugh said a call of shots fired came around 9 a.m. When police arrived, they could hear gunshots. Police were able to arrest the suspect, who was known to the others in the home, Erbaugh said.
