Bullard’s Smith named to D1 Baseball All-America team

OMAHA, Nebr. (KLTV) - Former Bullard Panther Hagen Smith continues to rack in awards, months after his season ended.
The junior was named to the D1 Baseball All-America first team as a starting pitcher.
Smith posted a 9-2 record with a 2.04 ERA. The lefthander struck out 161 batters to 34 walks in 84 innings pitched. Smith also set the Arkansas program record for strikeouts in a career this past season.
Smith was named SEC Pitcher of the Year, won National Pitcher of the Year, and was named a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award, which went to Travis Bazzana of Oregon State. Smith is projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2024 MLB Draft in mid-July.
