ROCHESTER, N.Y. (KLTV) - Former Lindale Eagle Nash Walters has been sidelined with an injury.
The righthander was placed on the 7-day injured list on June 25 by the Rochester Red Wings. Two days later, the Red Wings moved Walters from the 7-day IL, to the 60-day IL.
It’s unclear what the actual injury is, but Walters will be out of action for at least a couple of months.
Walters began the year in Double-A with the Harrisburg Senators where he posted a 2-0 record and allowed no runs over 14 innings pitched. Walters has struggled since moving up to Triple-A. Walters has a 6.08 ERA in just over 13 innings pitched.
Walters last appeared in a game on June 18.
