GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (KLTV) - Former Brook Hill Guard A.J. Minter pitched an inning of relief on Tuesday night for the Gwinnett Stripers, the Atlanta Braves Triple-A affiliate.

The left hander entered the game in the seventh inning.

Minter walked Moises Gomez to begin the inning. Minter then threw a wild pitch that allowed Gomez to advance to second base. Alfonso Rivas III came up next and flew out to left field for the first out of the inning, which allowed Gomez to move over to third base.

Minter forced Gavin Collins to ground out in the next at-bat for the second out of the inning, but it did allow Gomez to come in and score the lone run for the Redbirds. Minter then forced Victor Scott II to ground out to short and end the inning.

The Stripers went on to win the game 5-1.

Minter threw 22 pitches, with 11 of them being strikes.

The Braves will assess Minter on Wednesday and decide to either give him another rehab assignment, or call him up to the big league squad.
