ROME, Ga. (KLTV) - Former Brook Hill Guard A.J. Minter appeared in one inning for the Atlanta Braves High-A affiliate the Rome Emperors on Saturday.

The left hander started the game on the mound.

Minter struck out Mikey Romero to begin the game for the first out of the inning. Miguel Bleis singled to the left side and then stole second base. A wild pitch by Minter moved Bleis to third base with one out.

Cutter Coffey struck out in the next at-bat for the second out of the inning. Minter forced Ronald Rosario to ground the ball to short, but a throwing error allowed Rosario to reach base, and Bleis to come in and score. Minter got Castro out on strikes to end the inning.

Minter threw 21 pitches, with 14 of them being strikes.

It’s unsure right now if Minter will need another rehab assignment before rejoining the Braves.
