(CNN) – Over half a million popular glass coffee mugs are being recalled after hot liquid caused some to break.

A recall was announced for 580,000 of the 16-ounce JoyJolt Declan single-wall glass mugs.

The mugs are sold as a set of six on Amazon and the company’s website.

They were sold from September 2019 through May 2022.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, there are more than 100 reports of breakage and nearly five dozen injuries.

On Thursday, the glassware company JoyJolt said the mugs broke at the base when exposed to hot liquids.

However, the company did not explain why the glass mug would break.

Customers can fill out a form on JoyJolt’s website to receive a full refund.
