OMAHA, Nebr. (KTRE) - Former Jasper Bulldog John McMillon threw one inning of relief in Omaha’s 9-4 win over Louisville.

The right hander entered the game in the eighth inning.

McMillon came into the game to replace Colin Selby. McMillon forced Conner Capel to ground out for the first out and Austin Wynns struck out swinging for the first two outs of the inning.

Hernan Perez hit a home run in the next at-bat to cut the lead to 7-4 in favor of Omaha. Erik Gonzalez singled in the next at-bat and advanced to second base on a throwing error.

McMillon bounced back to strike out Blake Dunn and end the inning.

McMillon threw 23 pitches, with 14 of them being strikes.

The Omaha Storm Chasers are 48-20 on the season and sit in first place in the INT West.
