Marshall native Tahj Washington drafted by Miami Dolphins

DETROIT, Michigan (KLTV) - A Marshall native has been drafted into the NFL.

Tahj Washington was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the final round of the NFL Draft. Washington, a wide receiver for USC, was the 21st pick of round seven and the 241st pick overall.

Beaux Limmer was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams as the 218th overall pick for the 2024 season. Limmer, a center for the University of Arkansas, was the 41st pick of round six of the NFL draft.

Friday night, the New England Patriots chose Ja’Lynn Polk as the 37th pick in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft. Polk attended Lufkin High School before heading to Washington University as a wide receiver.
