TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Whitehouse native and three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes is one of the world’s most influential people, according to Time Magazine that is.

Mahomes is one of several people to appear on the latest issue of Time Magazine, which contains its latest version of the 100 Most Influential People list. Mahomes will be on the cover and is joined on the list by pop star Dua Lipa. This is Mahomes’ second time to be on this list.

In the interview, Mahomes said he disputes any talk of “GOAT” (greatest of all time) status that some may place on him.

“That’s something I’ll talk about when I’m done playing,” Mahomes says. “Then people can make those decisions.”

The profile also garners some praise from a fellow high-profile teammate.

“Pat is clearly the biggest name in football right now,” Travis Kelce tells TIME. “For him to still be in his 20s and not slowing down anytime soon means he’s also the future of football.”
