Timpson promotes Defensive Coordinator Patrick Gandy to AD and head football coach

TIMPSON, Texas (KTRE) - The reigning state champion Timpson Bears officially have their new Athletic Director and head coach, and they didn’t have to look far as defensive coordinator Patrick Gandy was officially given the head coaching position.
Gandy said in a statement Tuesday that he is looking forward to the challenge of the new job. “My dad was an AD and head football coach for 20-plus years and it’s always been my goal to sit in that seat and build a program like he did.”
