(Gray News) - A Publix-brand sauce has been recalled due to an undisclosed allergen.

The company Ventura Foods voluntarily recalled the Publix Deli Carolina-Style BBQ Mustard sauce, which is sold exclusively at Publix stores, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The company said the sauce may contain anchovy, a fish allergen, that is not declared on the label.

At this time, there have been no reported cases of illnesses connected to the sauce.

The recall is only for packages of the sauce with a use-by date of April 8, 2024.

The sauce was sold in Publix stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

The company advises consumers who have the product to discard it or return it for a full refund.
