York Police increasing patrols near public restrooms due to ongoing vandalism
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The York Police Department is investigating the vandalism of public restrooms in the city.
In a Facebook post Wednesday, police said the agency is increasing the number of officers patrolling near the restrooms.
During a patrol on Tuesday night, an officer found a men’s bathroom in disarray: feces in a urinal and an overflowed toilet.
Police remind people to be courteous of the city employees who clean and maintain the bathrooms.
