Two Lincoln streets to close, another reduce to one lane for paving work

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Three lengthy paving projects will begin in Lincoln next week, closing a couple streets.

On Monday, Northwest 12th Street will be reduced to one lane in both directions from West Highland Boulevard to Isaac Drive.

The closure will last until July 26, according to the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department.

On Tuesday, 16th Street will close from R to Vine streets. The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-August.

Then on Wednesday, Leighton Avenue will shut down from 66th to 70th streets.

It will reopen by mid-August, the city said.
