LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Fair announced Wednesday that the Little River Band will replace The Guess Who in this year’s concert series.

Concert organizers said they weren’t sure The Guess Who could fulfill their previously announced act, so the Little River Band will perform on Aug. 27 at the Heartland Event Center.

“The Little River Band offers a classic rock option to the Nebraska Lottery Concert Series,” said fair Executive Director Jamie Parr. “We know from last year’s Three Dog Night concert that our Tuesday attendance saw a nice increase, and we expect to see the same this year.”

The Little River Band has 16 Billboard Hot 100 hits, including “Reminiscing,” “Lonesome Loser” and “The Night Owls.”

Tickets can be purchased online at the State Fair website or at the Nebraska State Fair Box Office.

If you bought a ticket for The Guess Who, it will be honored for the Little River Band.

Those who want a ticket refund can contact the box office or stop by the Nebraska Building on the fairgrounds before June 21.
