LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two long-running country music acts are coming to the Nebraska State Fair.

The Gatlin Brothers and Lorrie Morgan will perform on Monday, Aug. 24, which is Older Nebraskans Day at the fair.

They will play a 2 p.m. matinee at the Heartland Events Center.

The Gatlin Brothers struck country music gold on their first single, “All the Gold in California,” which reached No. 1 on the charts in 1979.

Their other hits include “Houston” and “She Used to Be Somebody’s Baby.”

Morgan is known for several songs in the 1980s and 1990s, including “What Part of No” and “Except for Monday.”

All seats will be the same price, but the fair said the best seats will go on sale Friday.

Three more state fair concerts will be announced after the holidays.
