LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Storms caused the awning of a north Lincoln gas station to collapse early Tuesday morning.

It happened at Phillips 66 near 48th Street and Leighton Avenue.

A Channel 8 employee shared photos and videos of the toppled awning.  It’s unknown if anyone was injured.

Storms rolled into Lincoln around midnight, bringing along strong winds, flash flooding and a report of a tornado about 4 miles southeast of Pioneers Park.

Central Lancaster County, including south Lincoln, was under a tornado warning until 12:15 a.m.

The storm also left over 4,000 Lincoln Electric System customers without power.
