LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities arrested a man for driving under the influence after they say he crashed his truck.

Cass County deputies and paramedics were called out to the one-vehicle rollover crash in rural Eagle around 1 a.m. Sunday.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said 47-year-old Patrick Westlund, of Lincoln, was driving his Chevrolet Silverado when he left the road, struck a mailbox, continued into the ditch, struck a driveway and then became airborne.

CCSO says the truck then rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels.

Westlund was arrested for DUI.

Authorities say he was wearing his seatbelt and refused medical treatment.
