Police arrest 32-year-old man in deadly shooting at west Lincoln strip club

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities made an arrest Tuesday in a double homicide at a Lincoln strip club.

Christopher Z. Johnson, 32, of Lincoln was arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Police said investigators tracked him to Omaha, where he was taken into custody after a foot chase with help from multiple agencies.

Carlos Silva, 39, and Terrell Jones, 40, were shot around 2 a.m. Saturday at The Office Gentleman’s Club near West Van Dorn and South Folsom streets.

Both men were taken to a hospital, where they later died, according to police.

Investigators think the shooting happened during an argument outside of the club.  The shooting appears to be an isolated incident, according to police.

Police said an update on the shooting will be given at a briefing on Wednesday.

Johnson is in the Douglas County Jail waiting to be taken back to Lancaster County.
