Officials hosting four voter registration drives in Lincoln before primary

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lancaster County Election Commission is hosting four voter registration drives ahead of the May 14 primary.

Any U.S. citizen who lives in Nebraska and will be 18 on or before Nov. 5 may register at the drives.

You can also update your registration if you have moved, changed your name or want to change your political party.

The drives will be held at the following locations:

  • April 2 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. — Gere Library
  • April 13 from noon to 3 p.m. — Super Saver at 48th and O streets
  • April 21 from noon to 3 p.m. — Super Saver at 27th Street and Pine Lake Road
  • April 27 from noon to 3 p.m. — Super Saver at 27th Street and Cornhusker Highway

Voter registration is also available online if you have a valid Nebraska driver’s license or state ID card.

People can also register to vote at the election commission office at 601 N. 46th St.

The deadline to register to vote is May 3.
