LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers has settled two of his lawsuits against THC retailers.

He announced settlements on Wednesday with High Flow Cannabis in Grand Island and Ms. Vape Shop in Crete.

The stores were selling THC products that were “untested, mislabeled, and dangerous,” Hilgers said in a press release.

Under the settlements, High Flow Cannabis has shut down, and Ms. Vape Shop will stop selling THC.

They won’t have to pay the state anything, unless they violate the agreement.

In October, the attorney general sued 10 THC retailers across the state — including The Cannabis Factory in Lincoln — accusing them of selling delta-8 products that were too potent.

On Wednesday, Hilgers warned the eight shops that haven’t settled that they are running out of time.

“The door will soon close on obtaining settlements that waive penalties, and for those who do not settle, we will seek relief to the fullest extent of the law,” he said in the release. “We will not stop until those retailers cease selling these products which put Nebraskans’ health at risk.”
