LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was caught with drugs last week after a motorcycle crash in northeast Lincoln, police say.
In an update, police said 40-year-old Jeremy Wilcox was arrested Thursday on suspicion of several felony drug charges.
Around 2 a.m. on May 6, officers responded to a motorcycle crash near 70th and Douglas streets.
Police said Wilcox was northbound when he lost control, drove into a yard and crashed.
He was ejected from the motorcycle and taken to a hospital.
While in the emergency room, Wilcox was confrontational and spat on staff, according to police.
At the scene of the crash, investigators found cocaine, meth, drug paraphernalia and a handgun, police said.
Wilcox was at the hospital for 10 days before being lodged in the Lancaster County Jail.
