Midday Interview: CHI Health drive-thru flu shot clinics happening now

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — This fall, you can get your flu shot in a matter of minutes from the comfort of your car.

CHI Health Clinics in Lincoln are hosting drive-up clinics through the beginning of November. Kaitlin Rogge, APRN at CHI Health, joined Channel 8 News at midday to talk about the importance of flu shots this time of the year.

Here are some of the tips she shared:

  • Dates, times & locations listed on CHIHealth.com/flu

  • Call clinic of choice to schedule an appointment

  • Ages 7+ qualify for drive-up events

  • Fill out paperwork ahead of time

  • Almost all insurance/Medicare covers flu shots for free
