Man attacked roommate with beer bottle at Grand Island home, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man attacked his roommate Monday night while drinking at their Grand Island home, police say.
Around 7:30 p.m., officers were sent to a home near Fourth and Clark streets on a report of an assault.
Investigators learned that Pedro Juarez Gutierrez assaulted his roommate while they were drinking inside the home, police said.
Gutierrez punched the victim and hit him with a beer bottle, according to police. It’s unknown what led up to the fight.
The extent of the victim’s injuries is also unknown.
Gutierrez failed a preliminary breath test and was taken to a hospital before being arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
