Lincoln Parks & Recreation Summer Day Camps

Our Summer Day Camps are about creating memories, exploring new adventures, making friends, and celebrating being a kid. School’s out for summer and we’re ready for the recreation to start. Our summer day camps are focused on exploring and discovering the fun things in life. Camps have a wide curriculum of activities to keep campers moving and having fun. We swim, read, play sports, practice yoga, get outside, craft, garden, build, go on field trip adventures, and gain new skills to last a lifetime. During Summer Day Camp, participants will experience:

Adaptive Camps- Detailed Descriptions Below:

SumFun Camp: Reconnect with old friends and make new ones while developing skills in a fun environment. Campers will engage in a variety of daily physical activities like baseball, frisbee golf, and swimming. Explore Lincoln with trips to parks, museums, zoos and more! Get creative and use your imagination with crafts, music, and much more. Most importantly, at SumFun we have FUN!

Days: Monday – Friday

Ages: 5*-13
*Camper must have completed Kindergarten previous to camp.
Site 1– Location: Antelope Park Enclosed Shelter, 1650 Memorial Dr.

Ages: 14 -21
Site 2– Location: Auld Pavilion, 1650 Memorial Dr.

Drama Camp: Calling all drama kings and queens! Campers will prepare a play and work on sets, props, and costumes during this week-long camp. Camp ends with a final performance for families and friends!

Art Extravaganza Camp: Get ready to get creative! This week long camp includes projects in painting, drawing, ceramics, and pottery. Camp ends with an Art Show!
