Lincoln man was driving 100 mph on Highway 6 near Milford, patrol says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was arrested Sunday after a pursuit with the Nebraska State Patrol.

At 2:15 p.m., a trooper saw a Ford Mustang going over 100 mph on Highway 6 north of Milford.

The trooper tried to pull it over, but the driver kept speeding, the patrol said. The trooper then initiated a pursuit.

After the driver turned east onto Interstate 80, the state patrol helicopter took over the chase.

Pilots tracked the vehicle as it entered Lincoln. The vehicle came to a stop near 14th and Claremont streets.

Troopers arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.

Blake Judd, 27, was arrested on suspicion of willful reckless driving, flight to avoid arrest, driving under suspension and an outstanding warrant.

He was placed in the Seward County Jail.
