LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Former Husker quarterback Adrian Martinez has made his Pro Football Hall of Fame debut.

The jersey worn by Martinez in the UFL Championship game was put on display Wednesday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

This comes after Martinez led the Birmingham Stallions to a 25-0 victory over the San Antonio Brahmas in the UFL’s inaugural championship game.

The Hall of Fame said in an article that Martinez’s jersey, as well as a game ball, is now pat of its “Pro Football Today Gallery.

Martinez finished the year with 1,750 yards passing and 15 touchdowns.

He added 528 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on his way to league MVP.
