Both Roth and the prosecutor told Judge Thomas Zimmerman that Murray was going to be in a diversion program.

That means she will take classes and perform community service for six months.

If she completes that successfully, while staying out of trouble, the charge will be dismissed.

This is not her only court case.

On Monday, Murray pleaded no contest to DUI.

Her sentencing is set for July 22, which is the same day as her next court appearance in the shoplifting case.
