Gage County Sheriff’s Office investigating two-vehicle crash on Highway 77

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Investigators suspect alcohol was a factor in a two-vehicle crash in rural Gage County crash on Friday.

In a press release Tuesday, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Highway 77 south of Wymore.

A Saturn Vue, driven by a 67-year-old Wymore man, was heading south when it crossed the median and crashed into a vehicle stopped at an intersection.

The driver of the Saturn was taken to a hospital in Beatrice with injuries that were not life-threatening.  Nobody else was injured in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing, the sheriff’s office said.
