Former Husker Adrian Martinez wins MVP of UFL championship game

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Adrian Martinez was crowned MVP in Sunday’s UFL championship game at The Dome in St. Louis.

The Birmingham Stallions took down the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0 to win its third consecutive title, and first UFL title after the USFL and XFL merger.

This marks Martinez’s second major award of the season after wining league MVP last week.

Martinez finished the game completing 13 of his 23 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.

The former Husker quarterback added 52 yards on the ground to go with two rushing touchdowns.
