Explosion destroys porta-potty at Lincoln’s Holmes Lake
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A porta-potty at Holmes Lake was destroyed Tuesday night when an explosion caused around $900 in damage.
Visitors said they heard a loud explosion around 8:30 p.m.
Police said a group of juveniles was seen leaving the porta-potties and driving off in an SUV.
They threw an unknown firework into the porta-potty, blowing it up, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
The investigation is still ongoing.
