Deputy finds marijuana, cocaine and meth during traffic stop near York

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were caught Tuesday with several drugs during a traffic stop in York County, the sheriff’s office says.

A deputy pulled over a Ford F-150 at a gas station just south of York for a traffic violation, according to the sheriff’s office.

The deputy searched the truck and found 45 pounds of marijuana, 1 pound of methamphetamine and 1 ounce of cocaine, the sheriff’s office said.

The driver, Apolinar Cruz Sanchez, and the passenger, Elvira Garcia Sanchez, were arrested on suspicion of several felony drug charges.

Both are from Salinas, California.
