CHI Health: National Diabetes Awareness Month

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Diabetes is a disease that impacts more than 11% of Americans.

Marcia Malone is an Advanced Practice Nurse at CHI Health’s Diabetes Clinic near Yankee Hill. She says there are several signs and symptoms of diabetes that people should watch out for. Some of those include blurry vision, increase thirst, numbness in your hand’s and feet, and wounds that don’t heal well.
