Beatrice Humane Society gets pet food donation from Kansas City
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Beatrice Humane Society is getting some help from friends in Kansas City.
More than 10 volunteers gathered to load up pet food to send the shelter.
The effort is part of the nationwide Goods Bank Distribution.
The humane society said businesses like Purina and Chewy donate food to shelters and rescues across the country.
“To know that there are that many amazing and kind people willing to help out our little shelter doing such big things in Nebraska is awe inspiring,” the humane society said on Facebook.
